New Again - A Poem and Video

Hello Dear Readers,

It’s been awhile since I posted here. And the following post makes a total of two now live. Most of my online writing is on Substack and Facebook, but I shall try to develop the habit of posting here as well.

Today I want to share with you some new prose about how God’s word changes us every time we read it and how He continues to reveal Himself through His timeless, fathomless truth. Be blessed, my friends.

New Again

With every reading

Of Your word

Your Holy Spirit peels back

Layers of meaning

Lifting the veil

Revealing more beauty

More truth

More hope

In its fathomless depths

That You help my mind grasp

And fill my spirit to overflowing

And I am overwhelmed

By Your goodness to me

For I am revived

Refreshed

Regenerated

Made new yet again

By Your great love.

In Christ,

Janice

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. — Ephesians 3:14-19 NAS95
